Shaykh Farid is a special teacher. His grasp on the fundamentals of the Arabic language and his ability to break it down is so comprehensive and incredible. He possesses the unique ability of being able to take a difficult concept, and make it easy to digest; which is the hallmark of a tremendous teacher.

I have been following, participating and attending courses of Ust. Farid since a decade; from Sunnipath to individually leading a community today; he has come a long way. I am impressed with Shaykh’s dedication, punctuality and effort in each class. I’ve benefitted from him in Shafi’i madhhab classes, Hadith sciences, Sharh/Fiqh al-Hadith as well as ‘Aqida lessons. I would most certainly recommend him to any one who wishes to learn the religion from someone who learned it from traditional ulama.

While going through each Hadith, he does not only cover its chain, narrators and meanings but also more importantly shed light on its context, the Asal behind it, its connection to Fiqh and also the Surf and Nahw. As a longtime student of Ustadh Farid Dingle, I have great appreciation of his expansive knowledge of fiqh and Hadith.  Ustadh Farid Dingle is brilliant and incredibly passionate about teaching this sacred knowledge to his students and community.  He is very effective at communicating and cultivating an understanding of difficult legal principles.  One of the things I admire about Ustadh Farid is that he never makes you feel wrong for questioning nor does he shy away from having challenging discussions over the established understanding of a subject.

Sheikh Farid has been able to teach me multiple years worth of knowledge in just one year. Understanding his determination to help his students has aided me in truly doing my best to understand what he teaches. His teachings will compel you to truly desire the need to seek knowledge, and will walk with you step by step if you have any questions about anything which ranges from fiqh, aqeedah, arabic, quran, tajweed, hadith, and so much more. I’ve not only learned from him, but have been enlightened and inspired to learn as much as I can to reach his level of understanding, and although it’ll take my entire life to reach even a portion of his level, i hope to continue the journey of learning! His words of wisdom will not only linger in your brain, but will also touch your heart and soul. 

Sh. Farid is a wellspring of knowledge steeped in our classical tradition. Studying with him has been a humbling and unforgettable experience.
